Eugenie Yang

International Programs Coordinator

Eugenie Yang is the international programs coordinator for NBCC-I. In this position, Ms. Yang coordinates the Mental Health Facilitator (MHF) program by communicating with partners and organizing training materials. She also assists in institute program initiatives through collaborative efforts with partners and participants. Additionally, Ms. Yang is involved with country-specific certifications, research, and a variety of other short- and long-term projects. Ms. Yang joined NBCC-I in January 2014 as a graduate assistant before obtaining her current position in June 2015.

Although she spent a portion of her childhood in China, Ms. Yang was raised in Houston, Texas. She completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Texas at Austin and earned her Master of Science in counseling with a specialization in college counseling and student development from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Ms. Yang has been a National Certified Counselor (NCC) since 2015.
